Melanie Kinney is a passionate leader focused on developing her team of results-oriented, thought provoking Search Engine Marketing experts. Utilizing initiative, integrity, and desire for continuous improvement, she’s effectively grown the Client Services Team by over 400% in the last five years. During this rapid growth period, she implemented standard operating procedures, refined training and collaboration amongst the teams, and developed effective metrics to measure the team’s success against client and company goals, while delivering top-notch customer satisfaction
As Vice President of Client Services, Melanie expertly navigates the sometimes conflicting needs of her team, our clients, and the company. She defines the tools, technology, and training needs for her team to stay at the forefront of the Search industry. She leads her team of more than 40 Search professionals in developing and managing Paid and Organic Search campaigns for more than 50 enterprise-level Fortune 1000 clients in a variety of industries, including Retail, Automotive, Financial Services, Insurance, Travel, and B2B.
Under Melanie’s leadership, the Client Services Team has received numerous external accolades from clients and independent research institutes for maximizing return on their Search investments and being creative thought leaders and trusted partners. To demonstrate IMPAQT’s commitment to customer service, Melanie developed the Customer Allegiance Program, which provides a proactive and open channel of communication with our clients. Melanie and her team have increased client satisfaction by nearly 30 percent in the two years this program has been in place.
Melanie brings more than 15 years of varied experience in top-tier management consulting and client services leadership roles. Her background in supply chain management, e-commerce, and process reengineering has helped her design and lead IMPAQT’s first-class Client Services Team.
Prior to joining IMPAQT, Melanie worked as a Category Leader at Ariba, whereby she provided expertise in the area of Indirect Services. She provided functional and procurement strategies, as well as consulting expertise to enterprise clients. She also served as a Manager at Accenture in their Supply Chain Line of Business. In this role, Melanie consulted with Fortune 500 senior executives in the areas of E-commerce, Distribution, Procurement, and Logistics for organizations such as Deutsche Bank, JCPenney, EMI Music, BP, and Corning. Melanie also spent several years as a Logistics Analyst for a $2+ billion global distributor, where she managed the supply chain network for three manufacturing facilities.
Melanie is a member of Search Engine Marketing Professionals Organization (SEMPO) and the Pittsburgh Technology Council.
Melanie has a B.S. in Business Logistics from the University of Memphis.
